- The Pepperoni is nothing original, itis one of the most popular pizza topping, a must to have in a menu in everypizzeria. The name pepperoni sound really strange to an Italian because inItaly peperoni are peppers. It is exactly the same word with the same sound butwith a letter less. If you go to Italy you will often find a pizza with thename Diavola, this is the Italianpepperoni. It is called Diavola because Diavola mean evil and the salami theyuse has chillies. For this pizza I have used Chorizo, with paprika, the Spanish variation. The procedure to make this Pizza isstraight forward, make a standard Margherita and add the Salami before cooking.
